This is almost six months old.
I think I was, ironically, still being too generous.
Not most, but many blue-wave resist people, especially the Newsom fan base, actively HATE trans people. They want us gone.
Mind you, they still want us to vote for their boy. And they'll blame us if he loses.

I think this may be generous. Many Newsom enthusiasts know what he said, they just don't see "ban trans people from sports, and make it almost impossible for us to access healthcare" as transphobia. Anything short of "chop up the trans into little pieces and feed them to the ducks" is just Concerns.
