The way the pay for Ohtani is structured is pretty damn wild and it should probably be a banned practice across the league, imo. But the Mets did it w/ Bobby Bonilla and he's getting paid through 2035 on it...but that was for $5.9m and not $600m lol

As a LA area native and Dodgers fan, I just appreciate that we can be hated now. I was born into ~20 years of dogshit seasons with just 4 playoff appearances that all resulted in losing immediately, so it's a nice change

I think there's a messaging issue here - Some are making it sound like an actual Qatari-controlled AF base here in the US. Then I've also heard it's just training their pilots, which is 100% normal. I assume it's the latter, but sounds like someone in govt. implied the former?

Thank god somebody gets it. I'm American and we've been through this already and we failed. You guys can avoid that by making real impact in the lives of working people instead of chasing the insane far-right narratives that get sane-washed by your media just like ours did.
