kind of stand by this but not to as big a degree, while the twins are reslly useful i did find myself switching characters more often in this one, esp w/ the girl twin since the final boss has like a perma repel on him so her magic isny as useful past giving mc/hero a damage buff
while im loving dq5 a lot one thing im kinda disappointed about is that monster recruiting isn't as crucial as you'd expect it to be from the protag being The Monster Wrangler, you get a fair amount of party members here and there
