Hello folks, so I have run these 4 motherboards through my ultrasonic cleaner. Will they now work or have the same issues? The stream starts tonight at 7pm eastern.

I am passing along praise for the great work of @eric.scsi.blue and his team that continue to make the @bluescsi.com a wonder.

I’ve used almost every iteration, and the innovation, documentation, support, and overall attention to detail are superb.

My vintage Macs love their BlueSCSIs!

#C64 #Kouyate #RPG progress: before working on the fire and lava dungeon, decided to extend the Dwarven mines a little, so worked on that this evening and got it hooked into the game. Basically, there's now a back entrance to the mines that leads else where in the world...🤔 Oh, let me show you...

Doesn’t look like much now, but after being used as storage for the last couple of years this room is in the beginning stages of becoming a dedicated vintage computer lab. Progress is slow but steady.

This power cord overheated and failed at work. 10 amps my arse. Those thin flimsy wires should barely be carrying three amps at most!

Check your power cords on beefier computer equipment, folks. If it feels flimsy it's probably dangerous garbage like this.

Had a phone call yesterday and going to work with some of the best veterans of the Adventure Game genre. I'll have to outsource printing as it's that huge of a project. I'll be in charge of designing the box and more. They picked me over LRG(A huge honor). It was so hard not to fanboy over the phone

Finally getting that replacement IC today
Going to finally find out of it was the issue. All the other components around it seemed to test okay, so hopefully it's the solution
I'm still working on they 2-XL

I'm about 75% sure this IC is the issue. It's a governor for DC motors

When I plug it in the LED eyes light up but it doesn't start playing. I know the motor works but it's not being controlled by pressing play

So it's gotta be this chip, right?

May have finally narrowed down the failure of the Quadra 950 power supply to a failed resistor.

Surprisingly, despite two caps spilling their guts they still tested good, I couldn’t quite believe it.
