by far, i think the clearest sign of desperation by the ai bros is that every UI suddenly adding an AI tool seems to be deliberately making it extremely easy to click on by accident, since they're so fucking desperate to show their shareholders it's being actually used and not looked on with disgust

Almost done! Each character comes with 30 animations and is CC0/public domain licensed so they can be added in any of your games or projects! ✨

This is perhaps a good time to mention that I attended this preliminary hearing at the start of the week, met some of the fired union members in its aftermath and have been able to review Rockstar's evidence in-person for myself.

I was unsure about E33 being my top pick with that gen-AI discovery that was hastily patched out.
Maybe this is me giving an unfair exception cos it's game that I adored but I wanted to give some benefit of the doubt here and hope that the backlash to even using AI "placeholders" is taken on board.

So that wraps up my 2025 digest so as a wee summary here's my top 5 of 2025 as well as my GOTY picks.
Midnight Murder Club didn't appear on my 2025 digest because I covered its beta in 2024. I maybe should have added the full game to 2025 digest but oh well.

This game is the reason I am a game dev. Will always hold a special place in my heart. Did a replay (using the dogshit remake but with the classic graphics) and certainly it's a bit different to how I remember but ultimately it doesn't matter because of how important it is to me.
