more shit just happened to me. just got my claim back from the hospital cause i had to go to the ER for x-rays and stitches cause of an accident and I apparently owe them 2000. please share this please anything helps im fucking sobbing right now

Vibe coding is working as expected: it'll kill the open-source, secure, and ideologically maintained alternatives to make sure you have to pay the oligarchs to do anything at all, and they can control what you're allowed to make.

This was the whole point. As it stands, despite what C-level executives will tell you, AI "coding" cannot kill software engineering on a bigger scale. But it can kill the ecosystem we've had for years where a passionate person will give you something great for free.
