What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers more than $15 an hour.”

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Funny how that works.

We were attacked by fascists on Saturday.

On Saturday, the Aberdeen Trades Union Council held its annual St Andrew's Day parade along with community groups and refugees. It was explicitly a march against fascism, so we were expecting fascists to show up. And they did.

Here's the unvarnished reality of yesterday's pharmaceutical trade deal with the USA: Labour caved in. Folded. Blew it.

To avoid Trump's tariffs, they have committed the NHS to paying very significantly more for new drugs ie all the lifesaving medicines of the future.

Covid inquiry inadvertently makes case for indy: "Scotgov too dependent on WM".
It's ironic, but with no control over borders, or method to initiate lockdown & no powers for furlough, they did alright. No mention of politicisation of pamdemic by unionist politicos & MSM. But yeah blame scotgov.🤬

A govt deliberately trying to undermine the NHS & make it fail, to flog it off privately, by demonising NHS workers because they are 'immigrants'. It does make you wonder if that is just the plan. Utterly despicable but very on form.

It’s pitiful to watch Labour cynically toy with ideas, hoping to win support, which should have come naturally to the government in its first days: like repealing the two-child benefit cap. It’s too late. If Labour’s guiding mission isn’t eradicating child poverty then what’s the point of the party?
