Again, when Hoyer proves it, then he and others can brag about it. Ballesteros/Caissie/all the other younger guys are far from a proven product.

And I won’t debate this further. There’s no point.

And the same thing was being said after 2016. That didn’t work out so well, eh?

This year doesn’t guarantee future success and Hoyer is where he is at due to riding Epstein’s coattails.

No excuses now for Hoyer. The team has supposedly “arrived” so it’s fully on him to make it better.

This is a very good take/point. A few feet further with each ball and it’s the Cubs in the NLCS. That’s baseball.

And the Cubs showed they could hang with the Brewers. Now need some offseason additions to put us back over the top.

Not hopeful though with Hoyer calling the shots, mind you
