These times are troublesome & overwhelming to say the least. And still, we’re responsible for allowing what is & driving what’s next. There’s no neutrality. We’re uprooting what shouldn’t be and cultivating the life that should be…or we’re complicit with what is and all the harm of what could be.

That’s not the path that Republicans are pursuing, instead their agenda takes health care away from millions, defunds science & research for lifesaving treatments, & threatens rural hospitals & nursing homes – &, one that offers no assurances that Trump will spend the money Congress appropriates.

This is an example of an opportunity for Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, & the rest of the Dems in Congress to fight authoritarians like our lives depend on it. They have leverage in this government funding process.

We need and want them to fight. We have to keep the pressure on them to do so.
