Ice Storm Journal 9: Finished my storm project. It's...Supposed to be a floor turtle. It lives on the kitchen floor and you use it to mop up spills with your foot. But mine turned out looking more like roadkill. Oh well.

Ice Storm Journal 7: I have put up a blanket over my bedroom window for when the temperature drops into the single digits tomorrow. I was going to also put up towels over my other windows but my step ladder made this loud CLUNK noise and there's no way in hell I'm stepping on it again

Ice Storm Journal 5: Still have power! The freezing rain is expected around 3pm so I guess we'll see how long the power stays on. Also this will shock you but the light sprinkling of icy melt that the complex did has done NOTHING.

Ice Storm Journal: Since we might lose power and get into the single digits later this week I've created a blanket fort out of broom handles, duck tape, zip ties and my largest blanket. May it actually keep me warm.

Final latch dragon rug update! It is finished! I applied special rug glue to the back and gave the front a much needed trim. Now to figure out where I can hang this up in my apartment!
