ADHD meds are the reason why I am employed and living well. In kindergarten, prior to being medicated, you could say my name repeatedly and I'd still be sitting there, not recognizing you said my name.

Kids on ADHD meds couldn't possibly be ending up on other psychiatric meds because it's psychologically damaging to live in a world that not only isn't built for you, but also is actively hostile to you and shames you for being the way you are on a daily basis, right? 🙄

$10 says dumbasses will see this as a reason to restrict these medications more rather than redo how controlled substances can be prescribed... Like how I can only change my dose every 30 days even if I notice within the first few days that it's wrong...
idk what to tell you. doctors are not magic healers and living with a disability sucks. its not called "disabled" for nothing
