The natural cave at Bédeilhac was converted by Dewoitine and then by the Germans into a factory during the Second World War.
In 1972, test pilot Georges Bonnet, piloting a Morane light aircraft, successfully landed in the cave and took off again.

8 October 1937 | Dutch Jewish girl, Sara van Hasselt, was born in Rotterdam.

In August 1942 she was deported to #Auschwitz with her mother Heintje. They were probably both murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection. Her father, Levie, also perished in Auschwitz.

Lots of folks posting this. Look, you all knew ATC was understaffed. In multiple areas, the FAA is dealing with staffing issues. This is not new.

So, 6-day work weeks & now no paycheck. This should not be a surprise.

People are tired. If air travel slows down, we will survive the inconvenience.

Lasst Euch vom "PV-Optimismus" nicht täuschen. Behaltet die Fakten im Auge. PV & Speicher kommen seit Jahren (& noch für Jahre) "on-top-of" Fossilenergie, nicht an deren Stelle. Deshalb gab es auch 2024 kein "Peak Oil". 2025 wahrscheinlich auch nicht.
2015: 95 Mio, 2025 ca 105 Mio Barrel pro Tag.
