there's nothing that was done in gulags that isn't done in the current us prison system. so do you wanna get worked up over a country that doesn't exist anymore or figure out how we can finish the project of abolition/emancipation here and now?
gulag is literally just a scary word. it's a fucking normal prison, and prisons suck, sure, but it's not like an extra scary communist prison.
