Honestly, it’s exhausting that people think Gazans should only ask for help to survive to eat, to stay alive but not to dream, to study, or to rebuild their lives. Wanting education, safety, and a future isn’t greed. It’s being human.

Big reminder that the genocide in Gaza is not magically "over," even if Israel doesn't go breaking the ceasefire again. Virtually the entire region is in ruins from constant. People are still sick and hungry. Do not stop sharing/donating to fundraisers because they still NEED help.

No Karl is right. Speaking as a Canadian, we're not going to help the people of the US with overt fascism while we pointedly ignore the subtle fascism that is creeping in our own back yard (and, yknow, everything we did, have done, and are doing to indigenous folks.) This ain't the battle to pick.
