But it didn't deter people from going to vote. There was a long line where we went to vote on Saturday. I'm not in Ft. Worth, but another part of North Texas that had a local election to fill a city council seat. Normally boring and low turnout. People showed up!
Rep. Pete Sessions on Republicans losing a special election in a red part of Texas: "The success of a rain dance has a lot to do with timing. What happened is there was a huge snow storm, ice storm really that hit north Texas and central Texas."
