This translation also works the other way. If you have a bag of words consisting only of the things BLANKed here — scrambled and out of order — it will be 90% as useful, for many inferential purposes, as the whole passage. Language is quite redundant.

PCA is one of those techniques that sounds unreasonable (yeah sure we all want to fit a p-dimensional ellipsoid to our data) but turns out to be a reasonable solution to a wide range of problems.
