I'm pleased to share my blog about sharing the principles of Open Research with those shape research by contributing their lived experience. There are lots of terms for this - public contributor, patient involvement, co-production.

Please feel free to share! We want to understand how to better support autistic and or ADHD undergraduate students at UK universities. The entire study team is neurodivergent (as you can imagine we had some excellent meetings!)
We are a team at the University of Manchester researching what UK undergraduates with ADHD and/or autism would like to see in university staff training on ensuring undergraduate courses are accessible to them.

You can do this right now:

Think of a person who wrote a paper you love, whose work influenced or helped you, or has made your professional life better.

Search up their email address. Shoot them a quick email of thanks. It means so, so much. This is a rough time of year, share some joy.

FINALLY a survey where my answers don't skew the data! All surveys need to be made by autistic people. I didn't get mad at any point because I could explain my answers and context. And the questions had context! CONTEXT FOR ALL
Love dancing? Hate dancing? If you're #autistic, age 18+, in the UK, please take part in our survey (designed with autistic project advisors). We want to hear about why people don't dance, dancing at home (kitchen disco anyone?), socially, or at dance classes. For more info: tinyurl.com/Aut-dance
