Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

i think tech and ai positive people are going to be in for a big shock when anti tech and anti ai sentiment becomes a major part of leftwing politics going forward especially as datacenters continue to destroy communities and raise electricity bills

COVID was the ruling classes experiment to see if people would give up on the social contract to prioritize themselves, once they saw people were willing to let disabled, elderly and poor people die for their own convenience, they have slowly taken the mask fully off day by day and now we are here.

i cannot stress enough that in an ideal world, the local council housing service would have a first time homeowner department that 18 year olds leaving home or 21 year olds leaving uni can just access and get fucking housing. no one should have to rent. the existence of landlords is spit in our face
Believe me, I'm not defending bad landlords but I'm not going to lie and pretend someone is bad just because they rented me a house at a reasonable rate for 7 years.
