One thing I have learned -- whenever someone attacks me for something I haven't done it's because they are either doing it themselves or would if they were in power (and can't imagine a politician not doing it). At least he's warning us of his plans.

Sadly, I have to concur. And trying to understand where people are on different issues is becoming more difficult. How do we change this?

I cannot overstate the importance of reading books, particularly novels by respected authors, for critical thinking skills and reading comprehension. If the big gun novelists don't interest you, start small and work your way up. Or read whatever interests you. Just read. Or listen. It's all books.

YES, I would support this. We know if people start voting young, they tend to vote throughout their lives and encouraging young voters can help with low voter turn-out. Further, students study elections and political systems and are incredibly well-informed and would take voting seriously.

This is the biggest news of the last 24 hours—not the Signal Scandal.

Trump watchers have long said that early in his presidency he would begin a push to utterly destroy the U.S. voting system and disenfranchise millions and millions of voters.

Here we go.

Trump is disappearing legal immigrants he claims are a threat — despite presenting no evidence.

What really happened is that many of these people spoke out against him.

Every institution or individual that surrenders to Trump’s tyranny, or fails to speak out, only invites more of it.

I mean very obviously Hegseth should resign, and if it were a Democratic administration this would be quickly be a consensus position.
