The conspiracy theories about 15min cities come from the same opaquely funded “think tanks” that claimed HS2 was “to save 20mins to Birmingham” and that EVs spontaneously combust just by looking at them wrong…

What do walking, cycling, high speed trains and electric cars all not use a lot of?

Pretty sure he’s trying to hide the scar he got trying to steal a medallion off a woman in a bar fire in Nepal in the 1930s.
He's now wearing one glove to hide his rotting hand.

Yep, hardly anyone is ever inconvenienced by hire bikes, the pictures used to highlight the "issue" are very rare, but look news worth. Pedestrians try to cross busy roads or negotiating pavement parking is so common that it isn't newsworthy.
This is motornormativity
But of course cans completely destroy sightlines. Badly parked e-bikes are a pain but at least you still see past them.

This is not anti car. It is pro choice. Pro how towns and cities really work. People should be able to live near services without owning a vehicle. That means density, slower streets, better walking, better buses. Cars still exist. They just stop being mandatory.

Consumer organisations have consistently advocated against heating with hydrogen. Why? Because they understand that it would be highly inefficient, costly and impracticable.

My now dated meta-review has come to the same conclusion back in 2024. www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

I mean, if the government wants to be sure the Gorton and Denton byelection doesn't go to Reform, they could always make supplementary vote the system for parliamentary elections as well as mayoral ones (again) #justsaying

I think Trump would be militarizing ICE even without any Epstein Files. It all stems from his jealousy of Putin and his desire to be King.
We shouldn't expect anything to change if we mistake tactics and opportunity for strategy.

We do, on Motorways, but for every other road type the Car was a late arrival.

I'm very glad that the removal of cyclists etc wasn't legislated for back in the 60's.

It could easily have happened 'for progress'.

We have a responsibility not to allow such a mistake on our watch.

IMPORTANT: The Dutch invest €595 million annually on urban biking, resulting in €19 BILLION saved in public health care costs alone. That’s how smart governments do the math on investing in better mobility.

Let’s be clear— it WASTES public money to NOT do it.

20mph zones in London have made it quieter, hugely safer for people and for domestic animals and wildlife. Dozens of lives being saved every year, and hundreds more from injury. You would have to have a screw loose to oppose it.

Absolutely, trans people are just trans people, they don't want to become anything else, they just want the freedom and respect to be who they are.
"Can a man become a woman?" is not a question anyone asks in good faith as it's a complete misunderstanding of what being trans is. Absolutely a GOP op.
Just so everyone understands, this was a Republican op
