I’m a BigLaw securities and corporate governance litigator and trial lawyer in Baltimore with two kids and an awesome wife.

There’s a really fun book by James Morrow called Towing Jehovah, in which God dies and falls into the ocean, and an alcoholic former oil tanker pilot has to tow his two-mile-long corpse to the Arctic to be preserved.

This is exactly what they think though -- I've seen plenty of MAGA say things like "you complain about Donald Trump having 34 felonies but you have no problem with George Floyd." Well, George Floyd wasn't running for president - he was brutally murdered by cops. Not quite the same thing.

I also did office temping! Worked at different summer camps during college summers (and in the campus library during the school year) and then picked up office temping work my senior year, all through grad school, and even after moving to NYC. Does that even exist anymore?

Yep - Happy 50th to us! (I’ve got a little less than 3 months to go.) I also worked at a sleepaway camp when I was 17 (summer 1993) and made something like $600 for the full 8-week session. Good practice for my pre-law career as a starving musician.

I shelved goods in a convenience store when I was 15. Think I made like $4.25 an hour. That would’ve been 1991. Then I got a job at the local movie theater as soon as I turned 16 and made slightly more.

I am conflict avoidant and I also tend to get more tense fighting with opposing counsels. But these particular folks have been pulling stupid games recently so a little passive aggressive turnabout made me happy.
