Since it's so hard to find labelers on here, I decided to create a list from an external tool that contains most of the active labelers on the service.

bsky.app/profile/berz...
The only way this would ever be even remotely acceptable would be if they shut down all their drone production lines, retired the weapons, and used the scrap to produce the products.

This is beyond abhorrent and it makes me glad that I hadn't purchased one.

Dammit, I wish so much that @davekellett.bsky.social had the time and resources to update Drive daily. Maybe there's a chance all the finished books will fall through a singularity and I can read them instead of working? It's SO good

Had a thought a while ago: If you had to pick one game to play for the rest of your life, but got to download the final version immediately with all patches and DLC that will ever be released in the future, which would you pick?

A movie is a Christmas movie if and only if it would feel weird to watch it without a Christmas tree in your peripheral vision. Otherwise it's just a sparkling holiday movie.

A bunch of stuff that's been going on in my life over the past week provoked me to revisit the concept of an emotional affair. I've been accused of having them in the past by former partners, but it feels like one of those things that someone drops but I want to know the history.

Ugh, using copilot to enhance coding skills is like buying a knife sharpener at the dollar store.

Guess I'm going to spend the day with a little grey cloud over my brain. Wonder if there's any good new music to distract me.

We have a “poverty trap” and it’s driving the destruction of social cohesion.

The “poverty line” is’t 35,000, it’s $150,000, and making more than one, and less than the other is worse than being “poor”.

Which is why the rage.

Determined something fun and exciting this past week. I may be sleepy in the middle of the day, but I'm not tired. Not falling asleep is very hard, but if I do it fucks up that night of sleep and potentially several subsequent days.

I've been reviving my PS5 controllers pretty regularly to deal with candy and dirt and drift.

Decided to buy a conductive pen today. Hopefully $20 there will save one of the broken dpads.

Data modelling is an incredibly powerful and useful software tool (unlike blockchains where I still haven't seen any value). I wish it'd stop being treated like a universal tool though.

You wouldn't use a scalpel to cut down a tree or a spoon to dig a swimming pool.

More than a little surprised to see the newly tabled Federal Budget setting aside $3.8 million to "gettin' bizzzzaaaayyyyy".
Be interesting to see what qualifies.

I don't hate this. I also don't particularly like it. My opinions would be different if the world was in a better state, but with where we are? It's fine, I guess.

I first saw Death Trash on RockPaperShotgun in October 2015. It's been 10 years, but it's been constantly getting closer. Really looking forward to it, even if it takes another 10 years to complete.
