It’s around $400 for a legal name change plus months to get a hearing. Now add another $350 to get an updated passport (I don’t recall the DL fee or fee to order a new birth certificate), but if you don’t have all the time and money to legally do all this, you don’t get to vote. That’s the SAVE ACT.
