i’ve been homeless before and i barely clawed my way out of it by going to school. i’m frustrated and upset now that my only possibility out of uncertainty has been my pipeline right back. i really don’t need another pep talk; i need a means to survive. the accomplishments don’t matter anymore.

i’m not some 24 year old fresh outta undergrad who can just move back home if things don’t work out. i don’t have a home to move back to. i’m losing this one, so i’ve lost it all. AGAIN. risked it all for my education and i fuckin lost.

i cannot adequately express in words how devastating that is.

i didn’t qualify for funding on merit or socioeconomic status, and it’s made the last 30 years of my life feel like a waste of time.

i genuinely wish i knew how to be successful at doing something else since i can’t seem to find any success at doing this.
