God, Halo 2’s soundtrack is incredible. Often gets overlooked when talking about the best video game music, whether because of O’Donnell’s shitty politics or Halo’s current poor reputation, but I genuinely think these are among the best pieces in gaming.

It’s not like there isn’t a lot of easy inspiration. The original Deus Ex, while not open world, has some very open sections and it’s basically a spy game. Just do that.

Or alternatively, just don’t make it open world. There are other types of game!

A lot of Gen 1 Pokemon names in Japanese are really bland. The most obvious example is the names for the legendary birds and Eeveelutions, with Zapdos being サンダー (Thunder) and Jolteon being サンダース (Thunders).
