yeah I don't feel any solace about all this. They signed up for this and they still support the majority of what's happening (otherwise they would actually do/say something meaningful). Good riddance to all of them, but I don't feel any better.
there is a LOT of chatter today about GOP lawmakers in the House looking for the exits but very little discussion of the fact that every dissatisfied and disillusioned Republican elected did this to themselves

The thing about Carville's piece is that it's a perfect example of the way centrists can't write literally anything without getting in a few jabs at the left/minorities. It's entirely possible to run on "economic rage," sure. There's no need to go, "And remember what some people on Tumblr said??"

I don't understand how anyone can watch how blatantly Grok is manipulated to answer the way ownership desires it to and then act like the other LLM chatbots couldn't possibly be similarly but less obviously compromised to produce responses in whatever way corporate interests and priorities dictate.
