Hen and Wren.
Ink and gouache on Fabriano Medioevalis, approximately 95 × 64 mm.

Drawing in black ink, primarily in silhouette, of a hen and a Wren regarding each other quizzically. The hen stands in a patch of wild grasses whilst the wren perches on a small, leafless shrub in front of her. The hen's comb and wattle are the only touch of red gouache.
