How do people actually feel about the #FF7 Remake games anyways? I've been meaning to check in on that.
I tried to get through the original I borrowed from a friend but didn't get that far for life reasons.

A minor gripe apropos of nothing, but: I really hate when I go to the page of a game I'm vaguely interested in from word of mouth or whatever and they have some vids but none of them show the fucking gameplay. Like yeah, your anime is cool I guess but I'm here to check out the game and how it plays.

Some people will tell you to ask your players for their opinions or make sure everyone is on the same page. Those people are wrong. If the players didn't want to go with whatever you choose, they'd compete with you for GM position. So go ahead, break out your novel's plot and make them follow it.

I'm a tiny account, but I take comfort in the fact that I make an impact. I'm not in this scene for money. I've never made a cent compared to what I spend. Most often because people are doing cool shit I want, but sometimes just to support people, and no one and nothing can take that from me

Last night, we found out apparently the latest roll20 update fucked up all our maps. Did that happen to anyone else?
Anyways, while the GM (not me in this case) worked on that we decided to pivot into talking about designing the game we're going to use for our next campaign which was a blast.
