Taking a short vacation from sleeping to spend all night feeling unhopeful and dejected. Hopefully with this I’ll be recharged in no time and ready to get back to the important work of not being conscious.

I think, on some level, my sitting on my phone doomscrolling is a needlessly desperate attempt to somehow recapture the feeling of being a child reading a story in bed. The thing is, I can still do that. I think at least in part I reach for my phone instead because it feels more productive somehow.

Wish I'd had this a decade ago, but very glad it's a thing now! This will be an invaluable resource to people like me who otherwise will receive little to no education on the subject, and hopefully this helps to destigmatize talking about the subject.

The reason companies want to put AI in everything even though we actively hate it, is the same reason they were all in on Bitcoin, and crypto, and NFTs, and quantum computing.
