I think this was around the time the arcade cabinet lost connection to the network...
These machines don't run if they can't connect to the SEGA network. They are also locked to an IP address and SEGA Japan had to whitelist the IP when the cabinets moved to the stream room or else no showcase.

Just want to draw special attention to this photo since it sorta shows how much work goes into making every run work and how things are constantly being worked on and fixed, even mid run. Shoutout to all the BTS people 🙏🏻

I was telling one of my kids that it was physically impossible for an ad to play between songs on any of the records I own, and they asked "and you only have to pay for it once?" and you could see how strange that seemed. You cannot overstate how many basic rules of media consumption have changed.

People are starting to figure out food stuffs for AGDQ 2027 in Atlanta.
Unfortunately, Atlanta is two hours away from Atlanta so it REALLY depends on WHERE AGDQ is, that will change what is recommended.
What I recommend near the Dragon Con hotels is different from The Battery hotels.

Before I left for AGDQ, I dropped my car off at a body shop because I hit a tire on the way home from a trip in December and needed the bumper repaired.
Today when my wife tried to start her car to get me from the airport, it wouldn't - even after a charge and jump.
Now we have 0 cars.
