So I know this is taboo to talk about but uh... I can't remember the last time I've showered. I can't make myself shower. The longer I put it off the more anxiety I feel about it. But I dont know how to overcome it. It puts me in tears.

Any advice is welcome...

I have done this. Overwhelmed at the prospect of making coffee. This is an old screenshot of me explaining my thought process to my husband.

Screenshot of me listing off how making coffee was a q2 step ordeal. Long story Long:
1) gather all the dishes and utensils because we're out of clean everything
2) stack everything on the full counter oh wait that means I have to
3) clear the garbage off the counter,
4) toss out old food and
5) uh oh trash is full, better bag that up and set it to the side to take out later then
6) put away things that need to be put away then I can
7) finish stacking plates
8) clear all the clean dishes away
9) Do round 1 of dishes cause our sink is so small
10) wait for about 20 minutes for the dishes to dry cause I can't find a towel to dry them off in
11) repeat until all dishes are clean or until the last sinkful is in the sink. And that's if I don't forget about doing the dishes between rounds.
12) I can finally pull the coffee maker forward where I can reach it and actually make coffee

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.

wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.

Today, Freya experienced a sudden medical crisis. I found her lying limp and barely responsive. When we got her to the vet, her pulse, BP, and blood sugar were all dangerously low. Vet said if we'd waited an hour, she might not have survived.
