LRP even independent of my commissions being open, the permissive structure of every book cover under the sun (even for sprawling surreal stuff) being just like. the title and then a stock photo has always driven me fucking NUTS. even on digital it feels like there's so little room for exploration

I’m begging novel writers to hire an artist for their covers. At least someone who can do graphic design at a minimum. I see the worst book covers on here everyday and you’re all doing such a disservice to yourself to put in the effort to write a whole book only to turn people away with a bad cover.
