Agatha is gorgeous.

Why not address the factors that are causing staff to become depressed and burnout in the first place. Psilocybin assisted group therapy located the problem in the individuals rather than the circumstances they are working in. Context is important.

Here I am in March 2020 wearing the PPE that was available at the time for frontline services about to see an influx of extremely sick people with SARS-CoV-2 now known as COVID-19.

I watched many die.
Colleagues died.

Michelle Mone should be in jail.
And she should only be the first on a long list
A man stands in a hospital corridor in March 2020, fully dressed in early-pandemic personal protective equipment. He wears a disposable blue gown, plastic apron, surgical mask, clear visor with a white strip down the middle, and blue gloves. His trousers and bright blue trainers are visible beneath the gown. Behind him are double wooden doors with "Exit" and "Fire exit" signs, and to the side is a toilet sign. The image captures the stark, improvised feel of frontline PPE at the start of COVID-19.

Followed recommendation from colleague about taking Magnesium LThreonate for sleep. Taking 2000mg capsules, very surprising that am sleeping better after only 2 days. Deeper sleep and less “awake disturbances” on sleep monitoring app. And feel tired before going to bed.

Think it’s difficult as not sure how reliable current tests are for Covid. Secondly, if you do test + in NHS, many staff report that they are getting questioned as to why they tested given that it’s no longer policy to test. Resulting in staff going to work with Covid and spreading like wildfire.

That’s awful, poor family.

This tune was in memory of Eilidh McLeod, whom was a young piper from the Isle of Barra whom died at the Manchester Arena terrorist attack. Was a brilliant tribute to her.

I watched the Stillpoint History of Psychoanalysis Analysis Lectures on YouTube today. Donald Winnicott was some work horse. Worked with around 60,000 mothers. Love his belief “change the technique not the patient”. & said at one point to someone he was seeing “you can cry on my hands” -beautiful.

What was the diagnosis?

As a mental health nurse, I have never came across any professional who used PHQ9 during therapy. We use CORE during therapy. When I worked in primary care mental health team PHQ9 was used at screening. However, clinical judgement to determine severity as pts can underscore/over score on PHQ9.
