We were one in-and-out Trae shot from hitting this on the nose.

Also, Jalen should have the ball in his hands at the end of a close game.

Since I started my original account on the other site, 25 men have been voted into the Hall as players.

This is a lot of Hall of Famers. Too many players to fit in the character limit, so I've ranked them by career fWAR in the below image.

I was in a downtown Phoenix hotel with attendees of this conference this week. I have never been more tempted to piss on the people next to me at a line of urinals and I have been to three Michigan-MSU games in East Lansing.

I cannot remember who compared Marcel Reed to Lamar Jackson earlier this season but that was a bad take.

Good piece. It gets to a point that I have observed about American sports fans: we have almost no meaningful tradition of expressing dissent against shitty owners in a way that would force them to change.

New York (coached by Don Nelson) would go on to defeat Riley's Heat, 89-70.

I am in Phoenix for work and got the full Dillon Brooks experience tonight. He scored 13 of the Suns’ first 15 at the start; he let the Warriors back into the game at the end by punching Steph in the stomach with 38 seconds left and the Suns up five.

I LOVED this episode. We went to Missoula in 2019 and adored it. Not surprised to know that it has the “effete liberal college town” reputation in the state. I knew something there was on my wavelength.

i cannot imagine what sort of institutional power play requires leaking information to justin spiro and conservative sports bloggers who hate you lmao
i see the sherrone moore situation has laid bare michigan’s other open secret (that a particular university regent spends a weird amount of time “leaking” stuff to media/bloggers/anyone who will listen) because he spread rumors about warde manuel, a guy who seems to be spiritually fired anyway

Nice little juxtaposition: listening to this while lifting weights (coaches shocked that fans get mad when they leave) after reading “France on Trial” while doing cardio (Petain shocked that the French public was mad about his role leading the Vichy regime).
Today on Phantom Island: Lane Kiffin joined a small but interesting group of coaches who claimed that they were threatened by angry fans - and then seemingly had very little to back up their accusations. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/w...

This was one of the worst matches I have seen in years. Had the feel of Atlanta United-DC United with bad touches and misplaced passes. 0.54 xG combined and the only goal coming from the tallest player on the pitch heading into his own net.
Sunderland win in the Tyne–Wear derby.

Nick Woltemade's own goal extends Sunderland's unbeaten league record against Newcastle United to 10 games.

So pleased were the home fans with the German's goal, that some of them gave him a standing ovation when Eddie Howe brought him off.
