Hello!!! I am a writer and artist making comics who loves monsters and FromSoft games, best known for my GARLIC duology, which was followed by a standalone fantasy THE FIRELIGHT APPRENTICE

The caption along the bottom reads: Take it, please...I do not want it anymore. I wanted to love her, I truly did, for I cared for her so much but her love was too much for me. I treasured the time we spent together greatly, but I did not know how to match the affection she gave so easily to me. I did not know the mask I wore would attract such affec-tion. I did not know its smile would be perceived flirta-tious. When the realization hit me, I wanted to run and hide. She deserves someone who could match her affec-tions. And that sadly could never be me. My smiling mask did not help me in my efforts to dissuade her from pursuing my affection. So, I told her to meet me in the garden, that I had something special to gift her. She greeted me with a sweet smile and held out her hands ready to receive her gift. "I know this is what you want and I want you to have it," I told her. Then I dug my hands deep within my chest and offered her my heart. "Take it, please... I don't want it anymore. I know it's what you want, and with you, it will be safe so please... take it from me." I thought I could go on without a heart, that was why I encouraged her to take my gift-despite her wary hands. But I assured her all would be well, letting the lump of muscle and flesh rest heavy on her hands. Gifting my mind to someone who admired my intellect resulted in no issues, so of course I thought giving away my heart would be more or less the same. If only I knew how wrong I was. Without a head or heart to guide my actions, my body became aimless. My sense of self was lost. Soon I was a lumbering thing with flesh that began to stretch with a great yearning for what was missing. And that was how she found me. From an ornate glass jar, she procured the still-beating thing and held it aloft. Instantly, my body stilled and my flesh leaned with intrigued. Through tears, she sniffed. " I kept it safe as promised, and I truly appreciate the sentiment of this gift, but it was never mine to take so... Please, take it back... Dude regularly works for Disney, DreamWorks, Netflix and CN so speculate away. But this sucks no matter which studio is doing it, and gross to think some major movie this year is running with a plagiarized image from ChatGPT.
Post from Art Director Bill Robinson on LinkedIn saying: Welp, it finally happened. I was hired to work on a MAJOR live action Hollywood film (and I mean it’s one of the biggest anticipated films of the year). They needed a small animated sequence and wanted a character designer. I was handed a ChatGPT image and told “make it different”. I did - I spent hours finessing the design into something better and more specific for the character in the film. Waited a week for notes - then was told they got clearance from legal to use the original AI image instead. No need for any further work. This is what the director wanted. What are we doing as a society? What’s the endgame here? Replace every human until we are all homeless? I just don’t get it. If a major Hollywood film with a huge budget doesn’t see the need to work with real artists, is there any hope left?

Within seconds of creating a second account, after my first one was shut down just two days after it was created, my account was closed again. This happened despite the fact that I hadn’t posted anything or followed anyone. I was only in the process of adding a profile photo, yet I received an email claiming that my account was “spam” and that it was “causing harm.” What kind of logic is this? The painful truth is that the account was shut down the moment it became clear it was created from inside Gaza. It seems we are no longer allowed to write or speak about what is happening to us here. They are not afraid of content itself, but of our voices and the reality we carry with us. Millions are spent to silence these voices and to erase the truth. I am exhausted by this platform and by how our photos and videos, which document real suffering, are treated as “violations of community standards,” as if pain itself has become a crime. What is happening is not simple moderation or policy enforcement. It is an attempt to erase our existence and bury the truth. And honestly, this is shameful and unbearably painful. Okay I found something more concrete than just a tweet. It’s specifically an experiment they’re running in the UK, but they are using persona as the age assurance vendor. This doesn’t bode well for the rollout they’re planning in March.

I think the thing that is making burn out extra difficult to deal with these last few years is just how dehumanized art has become. It was already bad with the pressures of satiating social media, add engagement farming accounts that repost art uncredited and GenAI on top...🫠 ofc we're not ok

A free-to-play PVP shooter, Highguard had a strong launch--around 100,000 people were playing on Steam on its first day--but couldn't sustain those numbers, in ways that...look, you know what, why am I even talking about those figures, writers always do that when talking about layoffs like this, is there even much point trying to dissect the numbers of a game that took years to make, but where ‘most’ of the team gets laid off just two weeks after it came out? Loads of people are now reportedly out of a job, and whatever reasons people can offer or accept for it, none of it seems sane or sustainable.
