I suppose we could call Tron a visionary bad movie, a sincere film of honest (sometimes extremely daft) ideas that flubs the storytelling basics. Its experimental craft and aesthetic are striking, though, and some of the imagery is extremely effective. www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9vL...

If you don't know what STV are offering, check it out. They have literally hundreds of episodes of Brookside on there, 27 series of Taggart, and what looks like all of Byker Grove, including that head-bending finale. I need to dig deeper myself.
