I don’t watch The Traitors, but I understand there’s someone who claims to be trained by an FBI agent, which sounds like one of those incredible lies that someone at school told, like claiming Clint Eastwood was your uncle, or that they filmed that Terry’s Chocolate Orange advert in your old house.

Here's my theory about America: Nobody in this country learns what they need for life, either from school, parents or anywhere else, so every important lesson is learned by undergoing traumatic events and making terrible mistakes that leave huge emotional scars.

Goddd, Wild Rose is great, innit? I was cool on Hamnet, but she's great in it and hope the Oscar gives her the clout to make loads more like this.
Just thinkin’ about Jessie Buckley performing live for us following the Scottish Premiere of Wild Rose in 2019 💞

Don’t miss her Golden Globe Award–winning performance in HAMNET 💔

I spent too long as a non-parent to write a show that only worked for parents. This is from Slinky and it's a bit I really love

Again, at this point, I really have to question the intentions of Esther Ghey, a woman whose daughter was killed in an anti-trans hate crime, and immediately set up an organisation in Brianna’s name to campaign against phones, despite Brianna finding community online, and not transphobia.
love how much time effort and money is being put in to ban 13, 14 and 15 year olds from social media which they will definitely still be able to use.

*I'm not calling it a ban for under 16s as under 13s are generally already disallowed use by platforms and hey guess what. it doesn't work.

the best 2020s espionage black comedy is about the construction crew on the White House ballroom gradually realising that they're *all* spies from different countries, except for one undocumented immigrant who has to teach them how to do things

Give it up once more for the funniest TV line of the year, from Legend on Gladiators:

'There is no I in "team"... however there are 5 I's in "individual brilliance"'

"I've been to the sun.
It was fine." Legend is one of the funniest new telly characters of recent years.
The interview with Legend in the Radio Times is absolutely brilliant

The 1980s films of Michael Caine: Without A Clue (1988)
Michael Caine was on form as a hapless Holmes in 1988’s Without A Clue. We take a look back at a superb comedy, co-starring Ben Kingsley.

The move towards male/female essentialism in ‘progressive spaces’ is doing a lot of damage. You do not have a right to comfort in public spaces if the only source of your discomfort is someone existing and going about their business. That’s prejudice, not progressivism or safety.
