Today I joined with my choir to sing for a community group Alzheimer's sufferers having a Christmas lunch.
It was a hard gig tbh. There were speeches from the pres, a supervisor & a politician. The pollie & the pres both spoke about the Bondi massacre, one with Jewish heritage.

Unfortunately I know people who have got this really bizarre narrative going on that the Australian gov is going to take away the freedom of its people by tightening gun laws. They think that the gov. are some kind of body of overlords, out to control everyone & destroy all our rights. I.e.

Flipping crazy- ducked in the s-market for paper towels & a couple of other necessities-
$225 worth of groceries later-obviously I cannot be trusted.
I will eat the boned turkey and the cheesels by myself thank you very much.

I hated my cereal this morning. My salad lunch was okay.
Now I don't feel so good and I will have to think about what I want for dinner but everything just makes me feel yuck.
Much easier if I don't eat at all isn't it?

There is no ceasefire in Palestine.

I've decided I will be a counseller after all. I get so annoyed at the way that people are dismissed in the health system because they seem to be weak or lack commitment or self motivation. They need someone to get alongside & understand them.

Yesterday I got to finally meet the two border collie boys from up the road.
They separately both loved me as much as I enjoyed meeting them, but it took a little while with the shy one.
Now I’m besotted.
They made my day complete.

One thing I haven’t been able to do during breakdown-depression years is plan my days. I would do it but I did it begrudgingly as if I was crawling through mud.
There would be a sense of dread and anxiety.
It is almost gone.
