As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

UPDATE: latest round of ballots counted shows that Katie Wilson now leads Bruce Harrell in the Seattle Mayor's race by 1,346 votes.

That's currently within the 2,000 vote margin to trigger an automatic machine recount. Though there are ~1,000 ballots with signature issues that could change that.

And they already voted down the 1 year extension of ACA credits:
“In a 53-to-47 party-line vote, Republicans defeated a last-ditch effort by Democrats on Monday night to try to add a proposal to the spending package that would extend the credits for one year.”

There was a similar thermostatic anti-287(g) backlash during Trump 1.0. On a local levels, non-cooperation policies have had enormous success in recent years. Unfortunately, that has also led to a backlash, with multiple GOP states *mandating* cooperation through new state laws.
NEW: Dems easily flipped the sheriff's office in Pennsylvania's Bucks County, a big swing county in the Philly suburbs.

So? The incumbent GOP sheriff had contracted with ICE. His Dem challenger promised to end the contract.

Now he wants other swing-state Dems to look at his victory as a lesson:

A populous, swing county replaced its GOP sheriff on Tuesday after months of controversy over his joining ICE’s 287(g) program. The Democratic winner promises he’ll end the contract.

The Just Move Right hypothesis struck us initially as being a bit simplistic, a bit too conveniently aligned with the DC establishment’s pre-existing beliefs and opposed to their ideological opponents'. The more we’ve talked to voters over the past year, the more this explanation has unraveled.
