That facility sits near the center of all things. Our Dakota creation at Bdote. My Mdewakantowan ancestors were imprisoned at Ft Snelling in 1862. Many were killed on forced march to the fort. Over the winter, disease took more before being exiled by train/steamboat to starve at Crow Creek in SoDak.

I (121M) am a possibly illegal taxidermy goose that's gone missing, threatening the livelihoods of an antique dealer and his new temp employee. AITA for making them chase me through Baltimore if it means they fall in love in the process?
I meant to post this in December but alas, time got away from me:

Romance authors, if you have a 2026 release coming out (or it just came out), promo it in the form of an AITA post. And please, if you can, drop a buy link or a GR link. Let’s topple some TBR piles.

I've offered to Zoom with Aaron's class anytime he wants, and that offer goes for any other teacher or professor whose administration has banned WHITE FLIGHT from their classroom.
@kevinmkruse.bsky.social Thought you should know that five days before class starts, Tarleton U (part of the A&M system) explained to me that I wasn't allowed to teach your book "White Flight" because the title has the word "White" in it.

Horrors. That library was my home from home in my youth.
Reform UK Councillor John Baker threatened legal action when we said Reform UK’s Kent Council was selling the historic Folkestone Library building in Grace Hill.

They had promised to keep it open.

Well guess what? They’ve now sold it:

I know the world is shit, but supporting women who are being fucked over by banks is one tangible way to take care of our communities.

Mar is SO close to making it so her stuff isn't auctioned off while she is unhoused-- can you please help her out? And share if not?
Hi Bsky! Restarting a fundraiser to help with survival. My issues with my bank are ongoing and it's not looking like I'm going to have my savings returned to me soon. I may even need to file a lawsuit.

Any help would be so appreciated 🖤

Aretino would be (was) the greatest poster of all time; inventor of the gossip column; trolled Michelangelo so hard that he's immortalized on the Sistine Chapel holding the artist's flayed skin; friend to one Pope, another tried to assassinate him; beloved by & friend of sex workers, died lol-ing
Do you have a historical figure you most wish got to be a poster? I feel like you must have a better answer than mine, which is Churchill. The guy started autobiography when he was 19 I think. And just never stopped. True poster.

i am the problem

(at least every email I send says that they'll come out of business hours and to not reply, but I'll admit to being the problem)
my university is supposed to be closed with no one working except essential personnel. yes to all this!
Honestly? If you email or message me today I consider it an act of aggression. Your name goes on a list. Sure, no one is COMPELLED to open messages when you send them but also? Read the room.

Don’t worry gang, no one actually starts their New Year’s resolutions on the 1st. And you’d be silly to begin on a Friday, best save it for Monday. But Monday is the 5th so you’ve kind of missed the boat anyway and can safely put it off for next year.
