Uh. I woke up to about 200 more followers than I had when I went to bed. So. Hello.

I should add, I talk a lot about romance novels. And my favorite movies are The Sound of Music and While You Were Sleeping.

Just so y’all know, in 2010 John Isner and Nicolas Mahut played each other in the first round of Wimbledon and the match lasted for 11 hours and 5 minutes and was played over 3 days so SETTLE IN FOLKS.

It’s been a busy day, my kid turns 15 yo today and has been home sick for a couple of days. Thank goodness for a 3 day weekend. Anyway, she’s on the mend and I baked her this cake.

An annoying part of aging is the realization that I have both plantar fasciitis AND sciatica pain and I need fancy footwear with good arch support that costs $$$. This isn’t an ad for Vionic OR Brooks but it could be if they wanted to send me some shoes.

I absolutely watched that Beckham doc and if anything, it made me more sympathetic to Victoria (plus I was very into the Spice Girls in high school) so I will definitely be watching her documentary tonight.

Finally broke the ice on Julie Anne Long’s The Palace of Rogues series. I didn’t realize there’s only 8 books (so far) in this series. Should be able to finish all 8 by the end of this year.

I still see a lot of images on here without alt text and if you go to your settings, click on accessibility, and toggle the little thingy where it says “require alt text before posting” to on, then anytime you post an image, it will literally not let you post it until you add in the alt text.
