My son's boyfriend is a trans man. They are 21 yro. Came out as trans in middle school. Lived with us this summer when home got too hard. They have an apartment with my other son now. He loves my son and I love him for it. I do fear for them.
How do I know that transness is a thing? J is a biological girl. J loves my son. J could simply dress masc and date my son and go about their life. But he CAN'T. He is a boy in the depths of their being. NO ONE would sign up for the abuse, hate, and fear they face bc read a book or to win sports.

Michigan didn't get a say at all in Obama vs Hillary. I voted John McCain in primary so my vote would count and have least evil option on other side. Only time voted R in my life. Also why I didn't support Hillary wanting them to count MI votes when told it wouldn't count. I would've made a choice.
The fact is that we have candidates who have very excited and passionate supporters...and they amount to a minority of Democrats.
