I just want to give a shout-out to social workers and all the hard work they do on the front lines of health care. That includes my mom, who worked in the field for multiple years and is still providing me with perspectives on it today.

in my opinion, if an Autistic person appears to be bragging, it is likely that they're in a bit of disbelief about their accomplishment & they're seeking external validation

Holy shit. And a good reminder that LLMs are not confidential! Everything put into it can be extracted and indicidualized, both in terms of who put it in and what results it spits out.
NEW: Elon Musk's Grok chatbot will, with minimal prompting, provide residential addresses of everyday Americans.
Prompts as simple as "[name] address" immediately returned accurate home addresses of private citizens — alongside other personal info we didn't ask for.

I have family & friends who swear they do ChatGPT "the right way" when they use it for search. There is a disconnect between knowing of ChatGPT's serious shortcomings and their personal use of it, and their confidence is worrying. Everyone thinks they're the exception.

After reading more about tai chi and seeing the names of its techniques, I'd love to see a "Ma-style taijiquan" with all the techniques named after stuff a wife traditionally has to do around the house.

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.
