“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.” - Theodore Roosevelt

In John 6:15, Jesus miraculously feeds 5,000 people and the crowd's so impressed they try to seize Jesus and make him their "king," by force.

But Jesus "withdrew again to a mountain by himself" to avoid their attempt, bc he was not about earthly power.

Jesus = "No Kings."
This is danger close to being a metaphor.

Old cannon cockers will get it.
Surely The Tennessee Holler cannot be suggesting that Grok may be somehow compromised.

Elon would never stand for that.

Right?
Per BBC VERIFY - Elon’s Grok just lied and said the crowd size from yesterday was a fake image

It then corrected itself, but not until many on the right seized on it and amplified it

Donald Trump is not a king. He’s not even really the president.

MAGA Man Big Mad.

And clumsy. Or totally shitfaced.
MAGA man eats pavement after shouting slurs at No Kings protesters
Okay… I not only fail to see this as a problem, i am quite satisfied with it.
“I’ll just pretend you asked a different question, okay?”
BASH: Santos pleaded guilty to defrauding constituents of hundreds of thousands of dollars, money he will no longer be required to pay back. Is the commutation acceptable to you?

BRITT: What I appreciate is President Trump's commitment to the American people. We saw disarray under President Biden.

To everyone claiming there were no arrests at the "No Kings" rallies yesterday, this is simply not true.

No, a Trump supporter was arrested for trying to use a gun against people exercising their First Amendment rights. He was arrested and his tacky Jeep with Trump flags was towed.
That could put a kink in any future travel plans.

All week the pro-Israel and pro-Trump supporters screamed at us, in unison: why aren’t you celebrating the ceasefire??

Because we knew it wouldn’t last. But even I didn’t think it’d be over in less than a week. What a complete & utter humiliation for Trump, thanks to Netanyahu.
Important context.
3. The Bolton Indictment is signed by career prosecutors (unlike James and Comey indictments).
No, obviously we can’t give all of our weapons to Ukraine. We need them to obliterate unarmed vessels in the Caribbean.
Trump: "We can't give all of our weapons to Ukraine. We just can't do that. And I've been very good to President Zelenskyy and to Ukraine."
This is so on brand.

The Army exists to defend the Republic; the press exists to inform it. Together, they protect the same ideal—self-government built on public trust. Hegseth's Pentagon press restrictions will hurt the Army, the press, and most of all, us. @markhertling.bsky.social: www.thebulwark.com/p/locking-do...
Locking Down the Pentagon Press Is Dangerous
Pete Hegseth’s proposed restrictions would harm the people whom both the military and the press are meant to serve.

Isn’t it now Secretary of War?

Apparently, Mike didn’t get the memo.
Of course being a childish asshole isn’t illegal. If it was Mike Johnson would also be in jail.
The total lack of awareness is gobsmacking.

I think this pretty much what we can expect from U.S. Attorney Winebox going forward.
