How come in the 80s you either had a six shot revolver or an Uzi. Nobody had the type of semi auto pistol with a clip they do now

The way this is written is so confusing. Why was a remote IT employee talking to the VP about his salary in a restaurant, and later brought up what was said to his direct supervisor? Wouldn't you discuss salary with your supervisor, and go to the VP with concerns about what was said? or HR?

We're going to have shops before the metal detectors where if you don't have a collared shirt, a tie, and a jacket, you can't board. Women will be able to buy skirts. If you cannot afford a skirt one will be provided for you.

So strange how these Goldie Hawn/Chevy Chase comedies have completely fallen off the radar

Huh. I had never heard of these.
They don't get talked about much anymore but Roald Dahl hosted two different horror anthologies & they had wildly different tenures.

Way Out (1961) lasted only 14 episodes and 4 of them are lost media. It only survives through bootlegs.

Tales Of The Unexpected (1979-1988) somehow had 112 episodes.

How come no one has written the think piece "Men Are In Trouble. Maybe Homosexuality is the Solution"

Oh yeah. Let's have live televised hearings on this so the general public can see what a clown the SECDEF is. Let's get a SCOTUS ruling on this.
The SECDEF confirming an investigation to the world and labeling an individual under investigation as being part of the “Seditious Six” is unlawful command influence.

Seeing how much of the right-wing on Twitter is just bot farms, kinda lays bare how much hate and hatred is a project that needs to be constantly maintained, a fire that needs to be fed all the time lest it go out for a moment, so much time, effort, and resources to keep people angry and hateful.

And the real funny thing about that is the public schools in Fairfield County, CT (my alma mater) are better than private schools in most of the rest of the country, but still not good enough for them.
genuinely would love to know what linda mcmahon, whose children and grandchildren both attended/attend expensive connecticut private schools, knows public ed in 2025 outside of what her fellow clown car occupants tell her to think
