Tried my hand at photographing people the other day. I don’t like photographing people — or photos of people. I don’t even keep family pictures; when they’re gone, everything goes. So this is new for me — here are a few examples.

I found out that he belonged to a neighbor. He escaped somehow and was wandering through the neighborhood. He was really curious. I didn’t know if he wanted a pat or if he was going to try and bite me. He was huge. They are cute - kinda. 😄

TY - I thought it was really cool too. That’s what made me take a picture of it. I didn’t know what it was, but I discovered it’s called a stabilimentum. It’s said to help camouflage the spider, reflect UV light to attract prey, and as a warning to larger animals ( such as birds ) to avoid the web.
