Der er lang vej til en troværdig europæisk atomparaply, men det er en diskussion vi er nødt til at have. Det er ganske enkelt uholdbart hvis autokratierne i verden har atomvåben, mens demokratierne ikke har denne beskyttelse. Og det er konsekvensen af at vi ikke længere kan stole på USA.
Selv tyskerne ønsker sig en europæisk atomparaply – og der er grund til at handle, for vi er »i alvorlige problemer«

It's possible this is the perspective in some capitals, but where I am, the commitment to higher defense spending is not about pleasing Trump. It's a realization that Europe needs rapid rearmament to replace the US in European security.
The great irony is Euros are agreeing to these spending targets to appease Trump and keep America in. But by agreeing in principle to radically increase def spending (even though it’s all fake) it allows the US to walk away.

Flere og flere politikere fravælger X. Det er godt, for det giver ikke mening, at parlamentarikere støtter en platform, hvis ejer aktivt undergraver, hvad vi står for. Selvsamme politikere bør nu overveje at se på, om vores samfundsinstitutioner skal blive på X - nogle af dem betaler for det!
