This seems to be irrefutable evidence just how invested Wessley is in not wanting the truth to come out and the whole #ME world to move forward. He was at the forefront of the Royal Colleges withdrawing support for the new NICE guidelines I believe.

I think the temptation for someone suffering from an unrecognised, maligned illness is to deny any human vulnerability. Any mention of feeling low or scared must be avoided or they’ll just confirm a psychiatric diagnosis. This is terribly difficult. #ME #LC patients are human too!

I knew Tory ministers could be cruel, unfeeling bastards. But the insouciance, even mockery, by Labour ministers towards people convicted of no crime, who are at imminent risk of death as a result of an unconscionable period on remand is on another level altogether. They are revelling in it.
