lmao I work at THE Atlantic, a failing magazine full of idiots, and even I could find better "journalism" than you and your colleagues this morning. Unreal.

If you want to know what people mean when they say Democrats are "controlled opposition," rather than whipping votes against ICE funding, Hakeem Jeffries struck a deal with Republicans to allow Democrats to feign outrage at ICE while still funding the spending package.

X’s terms of service are extremely restrictive and allow them to sue users for practically any reason

And they mandate that any case go through the East Texas court which Musk essentially owns

It’s now LEGALLY RISKY to be posting on X because they can sue you and have an almost guaranteed win

Imagine saying "Kamala Harris ran a generally effective campaign" in the year 2026 and not getting laughed at constantly. Some people live in such a sad bubble.

We talk about ridding the world of fascism and that's obviously needed. However, we also need to abolish political consultants and ostracize every single one of them from society, forever.
NEW: In this interview, Chuck Schumer describes the "five buckets" Dems think are key to their possibly winning a Senate majority in 2026: housing, "the high price of food [and] food monopolies playing a major role there," electricity, "the high cost of childcare," and health care.
Zero Chucks Left to Give
Chuck Schumer now sees a path back to the majority. Can he manage his way through it?

I'm still laughing at a TV Historian who supported the Iraq War trying to lecture *anyone* about geopolitics or combat. "I'm very smart which is why I was so thoroughly fooled by the dumbest and most corrupt people alive. Well yes I knew they were dumb and corrupt but you see, I'm very very stupid."

I look forward to Brin's Bill Gates arc wherein people forget he's a money-hoarding psychopath who hates people, only for him to champion some social justice cause in the future while secretly fucking kids.

If Stephen Miller doesn't rot in prison for the rest of his life, we have failed as a society.
I really want ppl w/o Minneapolis connections to understand

You might've heard that Mpls public schools went hybrid bc so many families are in hiding. Well, a coworker just told me that today, during his kid's hybrid class, a kid's apt building was raided onscreen

*Everyone has stories like this*

Something that gets lost in these numbers is the role the media plays in all of this. Not only do we need to tear down fascist government programs, we need to tear down *all* fascist institutions.
"Do you think the ICE agent should face criminal charges for shooting the woman in Minneapolis?"

@amyklobuchar.com would feign outrage at this if she wasn't so darned busy voting for Trump's nominees!
just a reminder that we aren’t even seeing the worst of what is happening in Minneapolis from someone detailed at the Whipple Federal Building yesterday

Any democrat who promises to put this little guy in prison for the rest of his natural life gets my vote. It's really as simple as someone understanding that these people cannot be allowed back into society once we remove them from power.

It should also be noted that these disgusting excuses for human beings are fleeing the state because of a ballot initiative proposed by healthcare unions. We don't have universal healthcare in large part because of people like Sergey Brin and Larry Page.
In the 1930s, German and Italian scientists of principle fled to the US and became the backbone of our scientific and technical advantage, creating massive US wealth. Those who benefited most from their work are now… fleeing to chase lower tax rates. www.nytimes.com/2026/01/09/t...

"I could actually enforce rights because I'm governor or I could just post about it...I'm just gonna post about it :)"
Everyone, including protesters, has the right to be free from excessive force.

Firing chemical rounds into someone’s face like this is disgusting.

In California, those rights are respected and enforced.

ICE & CBP, you’ve been warned.

Why isn't the Minnesota State AG subpoenaing the hospital? Let's see that toxicology report. How much cocaine was in his bloodstream?

This agent removing Ross's personal computer was reported yesterday Jan 9 for boxing in a volunteer and telling them "I'll dedicate my next arrest to you"

The ICE agent who shot Marimar Martinez in Chicago tried to goad her out of her car.

He said “do something b*tch” and shot her 5 times.

The ICE agent who shot Nicole Renee Good did the same thing. Stood right in front of her vehicle and yelled “f*cking bitch”.

They hate women & it shows.
