Chicago has an abundance of wonderful local indie bookstores, but my personal favorites are the Book Cellar, Women & Children First, and Semicolon. Uncharted books & Ravenswood used books are also great for shopping second hand

So the courts can do this but can’t stop Meta from illegally using my books to train their AI?
Remember Grumpy Cat? A Sydney woman who sold a cat tee on Redbubble found herself and over 200 others having a default judgment against them in the US for $100k, brought by Grumpy Cat's trademark holder.

They then took nearly $600 from her PayPal account.

Ok #booksky, let’s talk.

the "an average person eats 3 spiders a year” factoid is actually just a statistical error. an average person eats 0 spiders per year. Spiders Georg, who lives in a cave & eats over 10,000 each day, is an outlier and should not have been counted
